OBITUARY

Timothy C. Koze, 53 of Pembroke Pines, Florida passed away unexpectedly on February 6, 2024.

Tim was born in Plainfield, New Jersey to Charles and Nancy Koze. After graduating from The Peddie School in 1988, he attended Rutgers College where he studied English and earned a BA in 1993.

Tim grew up in Hillsborough, New Jersey where he was a beloved member of the New Jersey swimming community for many years as both an athlete and a coach.

After relocating to Florida he met his long time partner Claudia Alarcon. Together Tim and Claudia enjoyed music, meditation, and the Florida sun. Tim was also a loving and present stepfather to Claudia's daughter, Viviana Munoz.

Tim was predeceased by his parents Charles and Nancy Koze. He is survived by his sister Rebecca Koze and her husband Alan Dutton of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and his partner Claudia Alarcon and her daughter Vivian Munoz of Pembroke Pines, Florida.

He was a beloved son, brother, partner, father, and friend to many, who will be greatly missed.
