Obituary

In the 45 yrs that Tacuma Safi lived he was loved by so many people. He was a son, a brother, a cousin, a friend, a dad, and an uncle. Tacuma Safi (Cuma) had a heart of gold. If he loved you he held on tight to whatever memories he had with you. He had a great sense of humor. He was quick to tell u exactly what was on his mind.

Tacuma Safi Harrison was born in miami, fl to the Late Evadney Curlin and Benjamin Harrison on Feb 20th. On Oct 29th he was called to be with his heavenly father after a long hard fight and battle with colon cancer. He is now truly “Taking Over The World!” He never loss his spirit or will to live. And most assuredly his faith in God! As he would always say “God Got Me!”

Tacuma attended and graduated from Miami Carol City in 1996 where he was part of the marching band and track & field team. He attended Miami Dade Community College. He worked as a Skycap at Miami International Airport. He was a line cook worked in several restaurants. His last workplace was at hard rock stadium where he had to leave due to his illness.

He leaves to mourn is two children Takyma Safianna and Tacuma Safi Jr.: his four living siblings, Tonya Michelle, Thena Maria, Benjamin Harrison, Tunisia Mauritania and he was preceded in death by his eldest brother the late Johnny Lloyd Pearsall. A host of nieces and nephews Rashawn, Lance, Tatiana, Leonard, Terrick, Tiffany, Levell, Tiara, Ben, Romeo, Johnnise, Autumn; two great nieces and nephews Sayon and Raciya he also leaves to mourn his extended family Precious (Mommy) Owen, Paula and Shirley; his loving and devoted god brother and God Sister Gary Bradshaw (Mooney Boy) and Sharron Manhertz and also his close friend Shetevia; a host of loving friends and family members.
