A Glimpse of Her Life

My heart is fixed, I will sing and give praise. Psalms 57:7 Our beloved Ollie Rea Scott (71), known affectionately as Sister passed away suddenly on August 24, 2023 at Memorial Regional Hospital, in Hollywood, FL. Ollie was the second oldest of five children, born to Willie Davis Scott Sr. and the late Ollie Bell Scott. She was born on June 19, 1952, in Greeleyville, South Carolina, and at the tender age of 3 the family relocated to Hallandale, FL. Ollie attended Broward County Public Schools and was a proud graduate of South Broward High School class of 1970. Ollie was connected in Christian fellowship at an early age and grew up as a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. Ollie was a lively and caring woman who loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a great sense of humor, she always seemed to have the right answers, and anything you needed to know about family history or recipes... she was the one to ask. To know her was to love her. Ollie was preceded in death by her mother Ollie Bell Scott and several other family members. Ollie is survived by her loving daughter Ebonie Johnson (Henri) of Hollywood, FL, her devoted father Willie Davis Scott Sr. of Greeleyville, SC, 3 brothers Willie Davis Scott Jr. of Greeleyville, SC, Levern Scott (wife Sarah) of Savannah, GA and, Abraham Scott (wife Sandra) of Hallandale Beach, FL. One sister Patricia Scott-Watson (husband Clarence) of Hollywood, FL. 3 beautiful granddaughters, Endia and Eshanti Theodule, and Geriyah Dejean all of Hollywood, FL. Nephews: Trayvon, LeWayne, Willie III, Delvin, Leki, D’Satrius and, Russell. Nieces: Octavia, LaQuai, Alicia, Renis and, D’Sashia. Ollie also leaves behind a host of cousins and friends.
