  Tribute to my mom: My mom, Emmarine Rodriguez—though to me she was simply "Mom," and to her siblings she was "Redz"—was one of the most loving souls I've ever known. If you were lucky enough to meet her, you didn't just know her name—you felt her love. She had this incredible way of making everyone feel seen, cared for, and valued. Her heart was bigger than words can capture. She gave without expecting anything in return, and she showed me every single day what it means to truly love. It didn't matter if you were family, friend, or even a stranger passing through her life—once you knew my mom, you knew you were loved. That was her gift to the world, and it's the legacy she leaves behind. For me, she was more than a mother. She was my comfort, my teacher, my safe place, my home, and my biggest supporter. Losing her leaves a space that can never really be filled, but I find peace in knowing that her love is still here—it's in me, in the people she touched, and in the memories I'll carry forever. I want people to remember her exactly as she lived: with an open heart, a gentle spirit, and a love so big it reached everyone around her. Mom, thank you for everything. I'll carry your love with me always.
