  I remember meeting Elaine and the whole family, in downtown Chicago. They were filming Barbershop with Ice Cube. If I remember correctly it was the first time you all coming to Chicago and you, Shanese were a little girl. Through the years your mom would send me pictures of you growing up and graduating. I remember her being so proud of you! To see the note attached with my information and I think the Marlins had won the World Series. WOW! I have never visited Florida as of yet. But Elaine, your mom will always have a special place in my heart. Just keeping in touch with me does my heart proud. ❤️🥰🙏🏾 I know she is looking down smiling😊 LOVE4YOU EVA❤️❤️🥰🥰😘😘😘

  Spiritual letter to my mom. Dear mom, this 2024 year is the year of truth. A lot of truth is coming out. Everything, I thought about you is showing to light. My mothering skills get greater by the day and I am an amazing mother. One of the best, I have ever known. Real mothers protect their children, help them in school, want their children to have as many A's as possible in school, and want their children to be their own individuals and not replicas of them. Real mothers don't get mad, when their children are creative and unique, they embrace it, whether large or small creativity or uniqueness. Where you are spiritually, you are learning and growing every day, and you learn from your life here on Earth, to be better in heaven. There is so much you can develop spiritually, and hopefully now you truly can. People who believe in Buddhist philosophical principles and use divination such as the tarot, believe in God and they use it to get closer to God. This is coming from one of the realest mothers out there. I don't have to mother exactly like you did, to be a good mother. I have to mother the best way I see fit, given the changes in this world, since having you as my mother. My mothering style may be different, but my ability to raise my son well is phenomenal. I never give up. I hope you find your peace. I am at peace with saying this. God bless you and Amen.

  Elaine may there be comfort in knowing that you were someone special who will never be forgotten. I consider you as my big sister-friend. We talked about any and everything for hours during our phone calls as if we talk on a daily basis. Mind you everyone Elaine was a talker, and I was too. I had plan to call Elaine during my "Spring Break" to catch up on everything, but our "God" had other plans for Elaine. Although, our dear "Lord" has called you home to be with him in "Heavenly Paradise Land." I know you're at peace now and rejoicing and reminiscing with your Mother and Father up in Heaven. I lonely can imagine that awesome reunion among you all together again. Elaine "YOU" was an encourager, motivator and someone who cared for everyone's well-being. I am glad you are not suffering anymore, and you get to be with your ancestors, your mother, your father, and your grandparents, that you missed so much each and every day. Through all the challenges and hardships in life, you still managed to live 66 years. Your care, dance, and laughter will be forever missed. Your grandson Matthew and I love you very much, and we think of you often. We created your funeral to reflect all you liked, loved, and adored. Thank you for your help and generosity.
