Obituary

Diane Anita Brown was born on the third day of September 1971, to Eula Brown and Lloyd Brown, on the beautiful island of Cayman. She was the youngest of three on her mother’s side and had two half-sisters from her father’s side. Her upbringing in Cayman was marked by successfully completing elementary school on the island before moving to the United States at the age of 11. Upon her arrival in the United States, she settled in Miami, Florida, with her mother, Eula. Diane continued her education at John F. Kennedy Jr. Middle School in North Miami Beach, Florida, and later attended North Miami Beach Senior High School.
A few years later, she relocated to Daytona Beach, Florida, with her four sons. It was here that she embarked on her career as a hairdresser and restaurant hostess. Diane dedicated herself to this career for several years before returning to Miami, Florida, where she lived until her passing in 2023 on September 16th.
Diane Brown was a strong, dedicated woman who was well-respected by her family and friends. She is survived by her four sons, seven grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Diane had a penchant for meaningful quotes, and one of her favorites was, “No news is good news.” She believed that when there was nothing to be said, it was equivalent to good news. She also had unwavering faith in one’s character and believed in the potential for redemption in each of us. May her memory continue to bring us good news.”
