Obituary As we reflect on the life of Daniel Malcolm Reid, we most remember his laughter and his love for life. Daniel was born on Thursday, January 24, 1952, in Saint Mary Parish, Jamaica as the child of Edith Malcolm. In his early years, Daniel attended school in the Saint Mary Parish area and eventually became a skilled Carpenter. Daniel then relocated to Kingston, Jamaica in his early adult years where he worked for many years. Daniel emigrated and have lived in the United States since 1982. He is most known for his infectious laughter that was truly contagious. His laughter often disarmed his greatest opponents and made a believer of skeptics. He had a love and zest for life that was evident in his approach daily. As a professional, Daniel cared about punctuality and the quality of his work. He simply remained a dedicated hard worker that laughed often until the end of his life on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Daniel Malcolm Reid had the love of and is survived by a very large family. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Laura Reid, 8 children, and 23 grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

When you love and laugh abundantly, you live a beautiful life. - Unknown
