I want to thank Sister Amelia Rogers for being a kind, humble, loving and spiritual woman. I will miss her phone calls of encouragement especially when I miss a day or three of not sending out my daily devotions; or, if I am absent from church a Sunday or three. It gave me great pleasure in knowing that she kept in tuned to all activities of the church body. I will miss you Sister Rogers. God has gained an Angel. You I will always treasure in my heart. Brother Ricky & Brother Alvin,Sr.

Deloris is my name.......Care Giving is my game. Knowing mrs Rogers is a blessing and the job I thought would have been hard soon became easy because Mrs Rogers even through her suffering (due to ill-health) always maintain a positive mind. Anecdotes, stories and laughter were shared and anything in between to show we cared. The bond we shared was awesome but little did I know that after all this I would be lonesome. "Thank you" was a phrase Mrs Rogers memorized. You could hear this even if your kindness shouldn't be recognized. We all hope that Mrs Rogers Heavenly father prepared her a home and that she will arrive in Heaven with a resounding "WELCOME HOME" Amelia Yolanda Rogers. May her soul rest in peace....... Rogers family be strong in the Lord always.......Love you all.

God Bless the Rogers family through this trying time. Your words of admiration for your mother were wonderful to read. They are a beautiful testament to a life well lived; a life lived in service to others, but most importantly to the Lord.

Sister Amelia Rogers, Mommy I love you; you will always be in my heart. At church I admired how you took care of my sister's children. You made sure all was well with them. You are a loving mother, friend, sister and wife. You are a woman of God. I enjoyed taking care of you. You're a humble, loving woman who Praised, Worshipped and Believe in God. Mom, thanks for having me in your life. (Proverbs 31 : 26- 31) Karen Brown

Mom was the sustainer and nourisher, always making sure the family was fed and taken care of. She taught me how to cook, bake, sew, and all the needed skills to be sure I would be able to stand on my own as an adult. We did not have much growing up, but my most vivid memory is the self-sacrifices mom would make to be sure the family was fed and nourished. She mothered everyone she came into contact with and treated them as her own, whether it was with love or with discipline. She has often been described as a rock and a vault who took every opportunity to point you to the Lord. She was an encourager, but firm and stern when she needed to be because she always cared. She was a mother figure to many who attested that they are where they are today because she took the time to intervene in their lives. We miss you mom and look forward to a grand reunion in heaven. We still love you. Steve, Kam Foong, and Daniel Rogers.

My mom is the strength of our family. She is supportive, loving, kind, and generous. Some of my fondest memories was her baking for us on the weekends, sewing our clothes and making the best hands down Sunday dinner. What I will miss most about my mom is, talking with her on the way home from work every day and talking with her and my dad on Sundays before church. I love you mom always. Leah, Richard, Alyssa and Courtney
